‘Yank Down Under‘ Show – Madison McKoy Just back from a year’s tour as The Apollo Theatre MC in the musical “Buddy”, Madison is performing again! You will be taken on a musical journey through Madison’s life growing up in America’s South. Hear about his days working in the tobacco fields, superstitions, church, family and haircuts. You may recognise Madison as the Caribbean barman from the Lime & Black Pepper Potato Chips ad on television but he has also performed in the musicals “Buddy”, “Miss Saigon”, “Sweet Charity” and “What The World Needs Now”. His film roles include “South Pacific”, “Radioland Murders” and “Looking For Natalie Wood”. Madison performs around the traps to promote his soul/rnb CDs “10th Child” (2005) and “Deep Within” (1999) and he also teaches English to speakers of other languages. So sit back! Enjoy! This venue/restauraunt is in an amazing location on the waterfront at Docklands in Melbourne. In a joint venture, Its a new Wednesday night for the venue and for Olly and Scuzzi. A Great location, classy with great food early. We have also added a third member for this night in 'Dirty Hodge' on percussion which has slotted in beautifully. Come down now while its still cruisy and cool, before it builds into madness and it WILL!!!

We will be playing at a bar in Altona called Mosaic's where we will be playing some acoustic set as well as good ol' 80's rock songs and ballads, basically all the anthems of the 80's and another thing FREE ENTRY guys

Starting on the 9th September the Rockits will be playing for 6 weeks on Wednesday nights in Flanagan's bar at the Stamford Hotel. This is the result of being the winning band at the venue final of Calling All Cover Bands earlier this year. Come along for a great night of old and new covers played by a tight six piece.

The Woodlands Hotel is home to this open mic/jam night, where the atmosphere is great and everyone's always welcome to come along, either to entertain or to be entertained. All PA equipment and microphones are supplied, along with a bass amp, two guitar amps and a drum kit, and acoustic instruments are fully catered for so musicians need only bring their own instruments and drum sticks to jam with other players or do their own thing as a solo act, duet, trio, band or whatever.
