Playing all tracks completely live the band can produce a sound equal to or better than semi-live acts who rely heavily on pre recorded backing tracks this is achieved through the use of top quality instruments, pa and effects. He has been a member of many popular cover bands and is a very hard working performer taking the duties on guitar and vocals it never any easy task Mick also is a very energetic performer demanding attention on every performance... GRANT PIKE (DRUMS) Grant has also played in several bands throughout Adelaide over the past 10 yrs. He is also a very energetic performer and drums his heart on every performance privately he is a fairly quiet guy but musically he is loud and boisterous which has been an asset of Take Covers live shows... PETE ELVEY (BASS) Pete has been playing in several bands within Adelaide over the last 10 years; Pete also handles the management for the Band. Pete is a true show man who is respected by all musicians that have played with him. Pete’s determination within the bands, promotions and the managing drive also continues whilst performing for the band he delivers and demands the best from band members and patrons etc...You may also remember Pete as being part of the reality TV show “The Hot House Filmed in Queensland 2004. LINDA BONAFEDE (KEYBOARDS/VOCALS) Linda has recently moved to Adelaide from South Africa where Linda was performing in a 3 piece cover band plus also performing as a solo act doin vocals and keyboard and doin all her own backing music.she has a burning desire to perform and music is her one true love she has a deep strong commanding voice which is quite rare amongst female vocalist. she is a rocker and performs male dominating songs with the balls needed to pull the music off she is the newest addition to TAKE COVER and has inspired Band Members and audiences with her singing and keyboard skills

TASTE  TASTE originally formed in the late 70s, releasing 4 top 20 singles and two top twenty albums. They appeared on every major concert and TV show including Countdown, Hey Hey its saturday, Don Lane show etc. Played to crowds as large as 13,000 and toured with Suzi Quatro, Sweet, Skyhooks,Sherbet,TMG and hush. Much admired by english rockband Queen (who played TASTES "Boys will be Boys" every night on tour before they went on stage) Other fan included Ritchie Blackmore,Elton John and Jackson Browne. Unfortunately to management problems and bad marketing TASTE never achieved the sucess they deserved. They signed to Sire Records in USA but broke up before releasing anything. They were asked to tour America with Queen. They have reformed this year, and have completed a new album of 10 new originals ROCK IS DEAD now released and available at www.taste.us.com There is interest from Europe and Japan. TASTE are KEN MURDOCH: Key Songwriter and singer. Successful career as jingle writer,producer and piano player. Ken plays left handed 1968 Telecaster and sang, wrote most of the CDs songs. He also produced the album. JOEY AMENTA: Guitarist and vocalist and songwriter with TASTE. Joey started his career with Taste and has played with every major band in Australia as guitar for hire but his love is with this band. MICHAEL TORTONI: Bass Guitar. Michael is legendary as the man who brought jazz to Melbourne owning the most successful jazz club in Australia,Bennetts lane. His true love of’ rock brought him back to his first band TASTE. He plays a 1970 Fender Precision . JOEL WITENBERG: Newest member and at 22 the youngest. Stepping into his successor’s shoes (Virgil Donati-universally acknowledged as one of the worlds greatest drummers) is no mean feat.At 22 Joel explores rythyms way beyond his years. His interplay with Michael and Joey is a joy to hear. The others agree that Joel is the only drummer for Taste now.

Do you like a lightning-fast switch from a catchy Beatles tune to a good, hard Limp Bizkit song? Would you like to hear Zeppelin, Jackyl, Audio Slave, Aerosmith, Foo Fighters, Weezer, Motley Crue, Eric Clapton, Cake, Black Crows, Chili Peppers, Foreigner, Metallica, some old Van Halen, and a rendition of "Play that Funky Music" or "Godzilla" all in the same show? Throw in an old David Allen Coe bar tune for fun and a good time will be had by all. Teacher'z Pet, a local cover and original band that's been rocking the KC metro area since 1996, is a purveyor of just this type of diverse set list that appeals to everyone. From today's Generation Y'ers and X'ers all the way back to the Baby Boomers, this multi-talented group of thirty-something musicians, definitely puts on a show you won't want to miss. The name 'Teacher'z Pet' is a more fitting name than most would realize. Front man Steve Waters and lead guitarist Mike Makowski have both earned bachelor's degrees in vocal music and, subsequently taught high school music in area schools for several years. The first thing about Teacher'z Pet that grabs you is Steve's amazing range (this guy has some pipes!) as he croons to the ladies on a slow tune and then immediately turns around and hits the Robert Plant, David Lee Roth, or Vince Neil-type high notes. Just wait 'til you hear his inflection on "Dream On" by Aerosmith. Mike always brings the crowd to its knees every time with guitar solos on his favorite axes. Steve's brother, Paul Waters pounds the skins and gives Steve a break on lead vocals regularly. And, you may recognize the bassist for Teacher'z Pet as a Kansas City rock icon. He is none other than Sam Lee, the bassist who toured with the local band Rampage from 1979-1990. You can catch "The Teacher'z" playing regularly at several area clubs and venues. They are available for all types of private parties including receptions, graduations, reunions, etc. The band is continuously updating its lengthy set list with current hits and original compositions, while staying polished on the classics and super-hits of years past. By the way, long-time fans will remember a definite high point July 4th weekend in 1998 when the band turned Millstone Lodge at the Lake of the Ozarks into a mini-Party Cove for three days straight! Thoric got a space in the paper headlined "Drummer needed" This is how we found our drummer Scott Thompson who was the perfect man for the job. the irony of this story is that Thoric placed 2nd in 2005 Rock solid's Battle of the Bands and was enjoyed by all. Now with more hope and drive ever, Thoric still strives to achieve their wishes continuing to explore and push the boundaries of music. TONI RANDLE JAZZ - Jazz Bands Melbourne Toni has a Masters, (2003), and a Bachelor, (2000), of Music in Jazz Voice, which she received from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, gaining distinction in both her final recitals. In her time at the Conservatorium she was privileged to work and perform with renowned pianist Judy Bailey. Toni was also invited to be a member of the advanced ensemble, led by esteemed pianist Paul McNamara. Toni also enjoyed Classical coaching from, the then head of department, Brenda Holeman.
In 1998, Toni completed her first diploma in Jazz voice, again with distinction in her final recital, at the Christchurch Polytechnic. She was then granted a scholarship from the Polytechnic to further pursue her studies in Australia, at the Sydney Conservatorium. Toni was also awarded her associate diploma (A.T.C.L), from Trinity College London. in Classical Voice, gaining distinction in 1998.
