Radionova
Radionova is a four member covers band featuring Female Lead Vocals, Guitarist/Vocalist, Bass Guitar and Drums. RadioNova formed in June 2004, derived from members from the popular cover band "Get Shorty" & "Vicious Circle" and has set its foundations on South Coast NSW.
The band, who hail from many different backgrounds came together with the incentive to produce a band with live energy and a high quality brand of live entertainment covering bands like Jigsaw from the 70's to Anastasia the new millennium.
On Stage, and on the dance floor, RadioNova is a great night out, not only will you get down and get funky to all your favourite tunes, you will be entertained with great vocals harmonies and excellent musicianship.
Michelle Thompson - Lead Vocals
Michelle is a singer with power and heart. Michelle began singing professionally at 18 and over the past 7 years has worked with many different acts like duo "Quini" to the band "Vicious Circle" and joined "RadioNova" in June 2004.
Michelle's versatility came from many influences, growing up in the eighties with the likes of John Farnham, Madonna and The B52's had her hooked from the outset and helped her develop her ability to captivate an audience with her dynamic voice and stage presence.
Gordon Tolman- Vocals/Guitar
Gordon originally from Sydney started playing guitar at age 12. Coming from an artistic family, Gordon quickly developed a love for the blues/rock style of guitar.
Gordon, strongly influenced by the '70's and '80's music, joined his first covers band at age 16, where with a number of different bands, he played in and around the pub & club circuit of Sydney.
Many projects later, and after four years leading 80's retro band "Get Shorty", Gordon formed RadioNova in June 2004
James "Jacko" Thompson - Drums
James was born and raised in Cowra NSW starting his music career at age 14 playing with Cowra band "Front Up" touring the country gig scene for a few years. He hails from the famous family of Thompson drummers, such as Peter "Ringo" Thompson, Denny Thompson, Chris Thompson and Shane Thompson.
James later moved to Shellharbour NSW later on and joined "Syndicate" for 3 years recording 2 albums. He spent the last 3 years with local band "Vicious Circle" joining "RadioNova" in June 2004.
James has a diverse range of influences including, The Dave Mathew Band, Sting, Tower of Power, Toto, Southern Sons, John Farnham which gives him the diversity to play solid grooves with soulful rhythm.
Felicity "Flick City" Reynolds
Felicity joined Radionova in September 2005 bringing new dynamic and rhythm and strong harmonic back up vocals. Felicity came to Radionova from her own funk rock originals band "Lipspeed" which played the Sydney circuit for years. Felicitys vibrant personality and stage presence brings new life to Radionova as a band

Ramona Dee & the Wild Ones  Ramona Dee & the Wild Ones have a vibrant, soulful sound which gets people moving on the dancefloor to tunes ranging from contemporary material such as "Valerie" (Amy Winehouse) to classics such as "I feel good" (James Brown) and "Sexual Healing" (Ben Harper rendition). When Ramona Dee & the Wild Ones slow down, they peirce your heart with mellow tunes that make you reminisce of lost loves gone by with hits such as "Breakeven" (The Script) and popular ballads such as "Halo" (Beyonce). Danielle Koch, popularly known as Ramona Dee, sings with complete conviction and emotion in her husky tone which is complimented harmoniously with the polished sound of Dip. Music (Pop/Jazz) graduate and professional musician Lucas Wentworth. A recent addition to the the band is music teacher Shae who is a freelance classical and jazz pianist whose passion flows right through her fingertips to the keyboard. They all share a passion for music and this shows through their energetic and moving performances as a group.
The band was conceived after Lucas and Ramona, both from differing musical backgrounds, met through playing for a bush fire relief concert following the horrific Victoria fires in early 2009. Having an ear for top-notch musicians, she invited him for a jam session to play around with some jazz standards. Their styles blended beautifully together and they then realized they had something rare and special. So a jazz guitar duo was born and later evolved into Ramona Dee & the Wild Ones. Wild Ones lead/rhythm guitarist Lucas Wentworth is a sought-after performer, sessional musician and best known for his quality guitar playing. He is an experienced musician with over 15 years of freelance stage and band work and teaching. He studied at the Box Hill College of Music, graduating with a Diploma of Music in Jazz/Pop. Playing extensively with cover bands 23 Red (rock) and Suave (Funk/Groove), he is experienced at adapting his performances to the needs of the particular venue and audience. Lucas has toured extensively throughout Victoria. Danielle Koch, professionally known as 'Ramona Dee', is a singer/songwriter with a unique & distinct sound. Together with her skills adapted from her experience in live musical theatre and fronting various professional jazz & soul/rnb bands such as 'Gruvacious' and 'Backstage Rendevzous', at a very tender age of 18 she began recording her debut EP which has now grown into an entire album. Two songs of this yet to be released album are already set to be used in the upcoming film 'Rama and Sita'. Her songwriting stands out with the combination of honest-emotion provoking lyrics and catchy melodies. She has also run singing and performance workshops and is a festival performer who was most recently seen at the 'Springvale festival'. She has also been involved with the gospel choir 'Urban Praise'. Ramona Dee is also frequently hired as a solo artist and can be seen all over Melbourne performing live soul and rhythm & blues with the Wild Ones. Rattle and Hum U2 Show  Rattle and Hum has been established since 1997 and is Australia"s longing running U2 Show. Based in Sydney we have played nearly 800 gigs and have done three tours to New Zealand.
Rattle and Hum the U2 Show provides the audience with a visual and musical history of U2. Costume changes include Rattle and Hum and Joshua Tree eras and Achtung Baby as well as the All That you cant Leave Behind era also. Rattle and Hum not only look like U2 but musically and vocally if you close your eyes you would think that you are in the room with the real U2. The bands Bono, "Bonox" sounds so close to Bono its not funny and looks similar to him also. The bands guitarist "The Wedge" has the edges guitar sounds down to a tee. Sean the bass player and Sam the drummer are both experienced musicians who add a solid rhythmn section to the U2 sound of the band. The Band
Susi Tate – Vocals
One word sums up the incredible vocal talents of Susi. Exhilarating… She is simply one of the most powerful female vocalists currently performing in Melbourne with over ten years live experience to her credit including performances at Bayside Summer Festival, Youth Week Festival as well as appearing in International film-clips with bands such as Rhapsody.
Susi shows off her versatility by performing a diverse range of music from artists such as The Beatles, Stevie Wonder and Gloria Gaynor through to Pink, U2 and Blink 182 to name just a few. Her ability to work any crowd and change her set list for any venue is simply breathtaking. Crowds are drawn to Susi’s natural aura as a singer and her outgoing personality which is evident when she’s out front of the band…
Susi is a natural performer and has also got extensive experience in dancing, acting and theatre but singing is her first love and she has fronted various acts such as top 40 bands Spyder and Liquid Groove to Blues rockers The Blues Doctors.
Susi is also an accomplished session vocalist and worked at Aliens theatre restaurant in a show that covered classic hits & current number ones with a full production, costumed, choreographed theatre show.
With a great look, powerful song list and a massive stage appeal, Susi simply commands the room whenever she performs with Risky Bizzness.
Mike Hilder – Guitar, Vocals
Also an accomplished vocalist, Mike performs classics from KISS, Cold Chisel and INXS through to Living End, Green Day and Screaming Jets.
Now a veteran of the music industry both as a live performer and a recording artist with over 15 years experience Mike has credits of in excess of 800 live performances. As well as vocals, Mike is an accomplished lead guitarist, bassist and pianist.
A prolific songwriter, Mike has written over 200 songs and is currently in the studio recording his 3 CD Trilogy concept album titled “The Storm” which is due for release in December 2007.
Mike has performed with some of Melbourne’s most recognizable cover bands including Crank and Fuzion, playing in some of Melbourne’s biggest venues and is also extremely experienced in the corporate arena having performed with top Melbourne Corporate bands Taboo and Juke Box over a long period of time.
Mike and Susi have a natural vocal compatibility which is extremely hard to get, and they harmonize perfectly with each other throughout each performance.
Glenn McPherson – Bass Guitar, Vocals
How many Bass players chose “Aeroplane” from the Red Hot Chili Peppers to pass their music exam? Not many…but Glenn did and passed with flying colours…
Full of bounce, Glenn is an excitement machine and adds real life to the band. A brilliant bass player, Glenn has been studying bass since he was ten years old and can play any style which fits in well with the demanding set list of Risky Bizzness. Glenn also shows his versatility with his lead vocal on Blister in the Sun and 500 Miles in the live show.
Apart from performing two nights per week with Risky Bizzness, Glenn is also a recording artist and is currently launching an EP with his band Broadway when not fulfilling his session commitments and teaching.
Maurice Bruno – Drums, Vocals
The only drummer in Melbourne who makes the rest of band set up around him so he is as much a part of the live show as anybody in the band…
The smoothest drummer you will see playing live in Melbourne. Maurice doesn’t even raise a sweat while ploughing through the Risky Bizzness song list. An absolute crowd favourite, Maurice is the most popular member of the band mainly because of his cheeky banter and interaction with the crowd.
Now also a veteran of the Melbourne music scene, Maurice has performed with quality cover bands Fukawi and the Rock Mobsters to name a couple. Technically sound, Maurice adapts to any style and sometimes changes mid song just to catch Mike and Glenn off guard, but never succeeded yet.
